How to import Aconex documents when creating an RFQ

To import a new document when creating an RFQ:

  1. Navigate to the Documents stage of the RFQ creation screen
  2. Locate the relevant document group that you wish to import documents to
  3. Click the Import File button beneath the relevant document group
  4. Locate the document(s) you wish to import
  5. Check the box beside the documents you wish to import
  6. Click the Import button



Click the Show Filters button to display the filters that can be used to narrow down your search results. Felix allows you to filter by various document properties to enable you to quickly and accurately find your documents.


How to import Aconex documents to a live RFQ

To import a new document to a live RFQ:

  1. Navigate to Projects & Quotes > Requests for Quotation from your Felix dashboard
  2. Locate the live RFQ you wish to import a new document to
  3. Hover over the more icon beside the relevant RFQ
  4. Select View Details from the drop-down menu
  5. Navigate to the Documents tab of the RFQ
  6. Click the Add or Update Document button
  7. Check the Upload new file(s) radio button beneath the message body field
  8. Select the relevant service from the drop-down menu
  9. Select the relevant document group from the drop-down menu
  10. Click the Import button beneath the document upload field
  11. Locate the document(s) that you wish to import
  12. Click the Import button
  13. Enter a title for the addendum in the field provided
  14. (Optional) Enter an internal reference number for the addendum in the field provided
  15. Enter a message to be sent with the newly imported document(s) in the field provided
  16. Click the Send button



Clicking the Add or Update Document buttons will take you to the addendum creation page. DMS documents that are imported to live RFQs are issued as an addendum message to ensure that vendors receive notification of the newly added documents.
