Deactivating payment details

You can deactivate a set of payment details on Felix at any time. This will indicate to customers to no longer use these details when engaging with your business.

How to deactivate payment details

To deactivate your Payment Details in Felix, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to Dashboard > Payment Details.
2. Locate the relevant set of payment details.
3. Open the set of Payment Details you wish to Deactivate and scroll to the bottom. 
4. Enter the reason for deactivating your payment details.
5. Click Deactivate.
   
   

Once you have deactivated a set of payment details it isn't possible to reactivate them.

After Deactivation

Once you have deactivated your Payment Details you will still be able to access them to view the previous record. 

The record will be updated to include the following information: 

• Who the Payment Details were deactivated by along with a timestamp of when the details were deactivated.
• The reason for deactivation.
• The previous status of the details (Approved, Declined, Pending).
• Who previously Approved/Declined the Payment Details along with a timestamp of the Approval/Decline of the details (Does not apply to Payment Details previously on Pending status).
